ATMS 2022

Two of our practitioners attended the ATMS Seminar and AGM on Sunday Nov 13th 2022 – Ernestina (acupuncturist) and Marcia (remedial massage and aromatherapist). It was wonderful to be in the same room with so  many other experienced accredited natural health practitioners again, some having been in practice for over 30 years. There was a lot of catching up with old friends and lots of interesting conversations between practitioners of different modalities.

Natural therapists do not have a labour force union. Instead, we have associations to represent us in the community and to the political forces that be. The ATMS staff did a great job looking after all the members during the pandemic and they are continuing to represent us so that we have a voice in the community and on the political front.

The seminar speakers were engaging and informative, reminding us that we are primarily in the business of looking after people, not to become millionaires (as lovely as that may be!). At the same time, we need to look after ourselves as individuals and our businesses, especially on the legal front, so that we can avoid getting into any kind of trouble that will stop us from helping people (like you who are reading this post) in the future.
