Head of TDP heat lamp

TDP heat lamps

For some treatments in the clinic we use TDP heat lamps over the body. Apart from feeling really warm and lovely, the heat lamps help alleviate aches and pains as well as other symptoms by assisting the natural healing process.

TDP is an acronym for the Chinese term ‘Teding Diancibo Pu’ (special electromagnetic spectrum). More than just a heater, the head of the lamp holds a mineral plate containing 33 trace elements which radiate far infrared emissions when heated (approx 450 ℃). The heat and infrared emissions provide a gentle and targeted sub-dermal stimulation which increases blood circulation to injured areas, promoting tissue repair.

Like Moxa, TDP lamps can be used effectively for treating menstrual disorders and digestive issues, and anybody with muscle tightness, inflammation, or pain can benefit from treatment with a TDP lamp.
